During the most recent power cut, I conceived the idea of extending my photographic repertoire to outer space, as this was the only thing that remained visible. Whilst I didn’t have any luck on that occasion, last night was more successful. So here is my first moon shot.
Quite pleased with it as a first attempt, although there’s obviously room for improvement. Taken with a 150mm lens, f5.6, 1/200s at 21:25 on 20th August 2013. Curiously, the result was better in hand-held mode than on a carefully positioned tripod with timer delay to avoid camera shake.
