So far today …
Morning – no broadband.
After 40 minutes on the phone to Support, including a bit where they took over the camera on my phone to check that everything was plugged in properly, still no broadband.
12:00 Laptop appears dead
Good news: all important files backed up online. Bad news: can’t access (no broadband).
14:00 Take laptop to repair shop.
15:00 Bad news: realise that I’ve given wrong password to repair shop. Good news: at least my files will be safe.
19:30 Update from broadband supplier. Support person (agent? happiness consultant?) calls me “my dear”. Bad move.
It could have been worse….”Darling” ?
… or I could have called him “sonny” 🙂
